Greenhouse gardening is not the natural way of farming but here the plants are grown under a cover of net or glass covering . This way the plants are protected from extreme weather conditions and also from pests and rodents. It will result in more fruits and vegetables and are more profitable for the farmer. The cost of building this artificial environment for the plants can be costly affair and this is the only disadvantage.

"Greenhouse" is a gardening term for a building that is made to grow plants in a controlled environment. Most of the time, it is made of clear materials like glass or plastic, which let sunshine in and keep heat inside. The greenhouse effect caused by these materials keeps the temperature inside the building higher, which protects plants from cold weather and makes it easier for them to grow.

The main goal of a greenhouse is to lengthen the growing season. This lets gardeners start planting earlier in the spring and keep harvesting later into the fall. The controlled environment inside a greenhouse makes it easier to change the temperature, humidity, and air flow to meet the needs of different plants.

Greenhouses also keep bad weather, pests, and diseases from hurting plants. They give plants a safe place to grow, and farmers can make sure the plants grow in the best way possible by using tools like heaters, fans, watering systems, and shading devices.

Greenhouses come in many shapes and sizes, from small ones for the backyard to big ones used for business. They can be used to grow a wide range of plants, including flowers, vegetables, herbs, and even tropical plants that might not live in the local temperature without the controlled environment that a greenhouse provides.
