what does ethics means in business world?

Ethics is a general theory or system of moral values. It entails the relationship between what is right and what is wrong, and how people should behave in any given situation. In simple terms, ethics means morals, which are standards by which we judge actions. These morals can be subjective or objective; they may be shared by a society or culture, or they may not exist outside the individual understanding of an action. However, I think that most people would agree that if it's morally bad to steal from somebody who has stolen from you before (consistency), then it's bad to steal from anybody else as well (universal justice).
