Authority is the power or the right to make decisions . Authority is taken at top level management or we can say that giving orders to lower level management by top level management . Top level management use their powers or right of a person to take decision.

For example - top level management has the right to make decisions related to hiring peoples and how much amount of money to spend on something and how to make purchase decision etc.
