Compost is decayed organic materials used as a fertilizer to nourish growing plants.The average person makes about 4.38 pounds of garbage per day which is approximately 1,598.7 pounds of garbage per year.Of all this trash only 34.8% is recycled and rest is sent to landfill.Today landfills are overcrowded and releases harmful chemicals into the ozone layer.
The Advantages of composting are listed below:
It Reduces landfill waste.
Lowers the amount of gases that heats up the earth.
Betters the quality of air we breathe
Fertilizes the soil and help deter garden pests.
