DC is the flow of electric current in one direction only. It is commonly produced by batteries, solar panels, and DC power supplies. DC is widely used in electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, and LED lights. Unlike AC, DC maintains constant voltage and current direction.
Dc refers to Direct Current. It is the one of the type of current. It is an electric current that flows in only one direction. In other words, Direct Current is an electric current generated by the charge carriers (electrons) that are flowing in only one direction. Direct Current flows in semiconductors such as diode, AC remotes, TV remotes, mobile phones, motorbikes, cars and other appliances too. Direct Current circuit is generally not used in homes.
