On-page SEO (also known as "on-site" SEO) is the process of optimising various aspects of your website that have an impact on your search engine rankings. A number of ranking factors, such as site accessibility, page speed, optimised content, keywords, title tags, and so on, determine where your website appears in search engine results pages. On-page SEO is all about optimising the elements of your website that you have control over and can change.

While on-page SEO refers to the factors you can control on your own website, off-page SEO refers to page ranking factors that happen outside of your website, such as backlinks from other websites. It also includes your promotion methods, which take into account the amount of social media exposure something receives.

Off-page SEO is an umbrella term for all the activities that happen outside of your website and on other websites.

The main purpose of off-page SEO is to rank higher on search engines for certain keywords and phrases.

On page seo refers to optimizing your website from a content perspective such as writing or editing content and making sure the site loads quickly. There are different elements like heads, taglines, content and so on.
