Car maintenance is a very tricky job. One has to remember the dates of the next due date of servicing and according to that plan the appointments and other important work. To have ideas about some of the parts of a car, let us start with filters.
There are 4 types of filters in air filter and fuel filter, cabin air filter, and oil filter. Air filter is there in the car to filter impurities in the air that is taken by engine during combustion. Because of air filter, the engine run smoothly, and it increases the fuel efficiency of the car.
Fuel filter filters out the residues, impurities and other particles in the fuel. It should be done to increase the life of the engine. If the oil is pure from residues, combustion of the engine will be easy and smooth.

The difference between the air filter and fuel filter is, the time to change them. Air filter should be changed after every 24,000 km or when ever you find some impurities filled in the air filter. On the other hand, fuel filter is changed after 80,000 km. Or you can say that the air filter should be changed every year and fuel filter should be changed every alternate year. One thing should be noted, if your fuel is not pure and consists of impurities or if you always wait till the fuel meter gets down to zero, then you may need to change the fuel filter soon.
You can change these filters by yourself. But even if you don’t know the procedure to change, at least mark the next due dates for these filter changes.
