Hello,

Form 16 is basically the record of the income tax amount deduction. It is known as the TDS.

It has all record how much your amount get deducted in filing the income tax.

Form 16 is the document that is given under section 203 of the Income-tax Act. It is the record of income tax deduction from salary. An employee can use Form 16 to reference information to fill up their ITR, and it can be kept as proof for TDS.
