Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced a budget of this year and first time "Kisan Rail Service"launched. The first train carrying fruits and vegetables would run between Devali (Maharashtra) and Danapur (Bihar). These perishable goods are mainly transported to areas around Patna, Allahabad, Katni, Satna and others.
The train will reach Danapur at 6:45 p.m. on the next day, covering the 1519 km in 31 hours 45 minutes.
Kisan Rail Serviceshas been provided scheduled halts at many places like Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Burar and so many more.
