Diaspora means the population scattered around whose origin lies in a separate geographical area. It is basically the people who are settled far from their ancestral homeland. It can be referred to as the ones who have migrated from their place due to some reason.
For example, An Indian family who has settled in America and has children born and brought up in America. The ones born in America are part of the Diaspora.
