For many, Pride is a time to celebrate what it means to be LGBTQ+ and the contributions they have made. For others, Pride is a time of remembrance. Though there are many different ways to enjoy and commemorate Pride Month, one thing remains constant: living in the open for all that you are.

In the LGBTQ+ community, pride isn't just about celebrating diversity or appreciating who we are - it's also about showing up for one another and supporting those in their journeys toward self-acceptance.

Pride is a feeling of extreme happiness that you experience when you or people close to you do something good or own something big.Pride gives a feeling of being better or above others in the society .Some people take excessive pride in ones achievement and belittling others in front of others ,that creates a bad image of being arrogant and rude. This way we are not able to find faults in ourself nor acknowledge our own shortcomings.

Respect for oneself or anyone close to you increases in your own eyes after some achievement which was difficult or needed lot of hard work which can be termed as taking pride. In a positive way it means having a feeling of self-respect.People can be proud of something good that they have done and can be proud of their work. But appreciating ones own achievements with comparing others non performance or self worth can be negative and pompous. Some people do find pleasure in bringing down others by highlighting their own achievements in life.
