What is Pyschoanalysis Criticism?

Psychoanalysis Criticism that emerged in the 1960s, was one of the most influential interpretative theories. It is a type of literary criticism or literary theory which is influenced by the tradition of Psychoanalysis in method, concept, or form. On one level it concerns itself with dreams, for dreams are the reflection of the unconscious psychological states of the dreamer. In simple words, it is a form of applied Psychoanalysis, science that is concerned with the interaction between conscious and unconscious.
