- Right to Education Act (RTE) is an Act of the Parliament of India implemented on 4 August 2009, which describes the modalities of the importance of free and compulsory education for children between the age of 6 to 14 years in India under Article 21A.RTE Stands for the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE).
Our country have provided us Human Rights so that we can lead a comfortable and peaceful life. One of them is Right To Education. It says, each and every citizen has right to learn from their childhoods to old age. It was passes in August 2009. This right makes a compulsory education to children of 6 to 14 years. This Act inhibits:
- Mental Harassment and physical Punishment
- Running of schools with no recognition
- Capitation fees
The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE), was introduced by the Indian parliament on 4 August 2009, it enforces the need for education to children between the age of 6-14 in India under Article 21a of the Indian Constitution. The act was implemented on 1 April 2010. Thus, education is recognized as the fundamental right of every children. The private schools should reserve 25% of the seats to the children which will be reimbursed by the state government.
