SSA stands for Sarva Siksha Abhiyan. It means the "Education For All Movement". It is governed by Indian Government to promote the primary education and higher education to each and every children of nation. It was founded by Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2001. Under this movement, all children are provided with a fundamental right ( Article- 21 A) to get education. It is the 86th amendment to the Constitution of India. It is a program for Universal Elementary Education.
