Taxonomy is a branch of science concerned with classification,especially of organisms; systematics.It is the science of naming,describing and classifying organisms and includes animals,plants and microorganisms in the world.It can aso be defined as grouping.It was developed by the Swedish botanist Carolus Linnaeus who lived during the 18 th century.
