what is the biggest problem in education?

It is hard to say exactly what the biggest problem in education is, but one of the most common problems we see today are students getting certified for a job before they know any of the skills required for that position. We talked with a career counselor from Ohio and he said that it is becoming more commonplace to see welders and plumbers who don’t know how to read blueprints or operate basic tools. This can be attributed to an ineffective education system that tends not place focus on vocational training at earlier levels.

There are many other problems as well including lack of funding, schools targeting more affluent communities, teachers being underpaid, students unable to afford college tuition, and so on.
