The Prime Minister is the leader of the executive and the most powerful individual of the country while the President of the country is the first citizen of the country. The Prime Minister is the Head of the Cabinet, and the Council of Minister while the President is the ceremonial head of the country. The Prime Minister of India is elected by the President of India. The President is elected by the members of parliament and legislative assembly.
