Since their debut in 1948, the World Health Organization has been leading efforts to improve health worldwide. Now that they have a full name, it can help to know what it stands for. Take a look below at all of the WHO full names weve found thus far:

World Health Organization

World Organisation Against Torture

World Organisation Against Drugs and Crime

World Union of Public Transport Workers' Unions

Pentagon Space Defense Command Base

National Intellectual Property Center (of Hungary) etc.

WHO stands for World Health Organization, an international agency that leads global health initiatives and acts as the voice for health concerns worldwide.
