According to astrological studies, horoscope is basically a diagram or chart which precisely

describes the character traits, personality, and happenings of human life by determining the
position of sun, moon, and planets. From those charts or diagrams the astrologer depicts
the zodiac signs of an individual at the time of their birth. In Bengali it is denoted as
“Rashifal”.
There are different horoscopes with different zodiac signs which have their own
meaning and importance. Some of them are—Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo,
Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. These signs belong to four
elements, namely­ air, water, fire and earth. These four elements generally denote a
positive energy which acts within ourselves. From a deep research and with proofs the
astrologers came to the conclusion that everything which happens in our life happens for a
reason. Daily horoscopes determine the happenings of our life everyday. It has a direct
connection with our emotions. One may ask whether horoscopes are scientific or not. Well,
no such proofs have been released yet. It’s all about believing astrology without asking
about its existence. Many people are there who still believe in astrology and check what
their daily horoscopes tell them about.
Horoscope is all about prediction which can also predict one’s future and fate. Though
sometimes the predictions proved to be wrong, it is seen that our birth month can really
predict our fate which is quite interesting.

As per astrology the heavenly bodies usually stars and planets have an influence on the human lives. Hindu astrology is based on the moon and according to astrology Moon affects our body as it does to the ocean.The position of the sun, stars, moon and planets at the time of birth is said to shape the personality,family life and economic fortunes of a person.All these are clearly mentioned by the astrologer in a horoscope which is an astrological chart written by taking into consideration time of birth,place and star of the person.

Astrology is an old concept and it is used to forecast and predict future events and also used as a medium to get rid of any kind of dangers because of planetary positions.Rather than being fatalistic astrology and horoscopes should be put to good use and guide us to make necessary changes and decisions in life to put it in the right path.

A horoscope or the astrological chart is a forecast of an individual’s future life based on the comparative positions of the stars and planets taking into account the time ,place and star of the person. ".A horoscope is made to provide information about the present and to predict events to come .It is used by elders of the family to understand how favorable time is in the days to come for their children .This is not supported by the scientific world as there is no proof and theories to support the prediction.

Western astrology as per the different countries take the sun as the base and follow the solar signs also widely famous as the Zodiac signs. Hindu astrology,follows the moon as base of calculations and hence “Rashi” is taken as the base for the predictions.
The twelve signs of the zodiac are Aries, Scorpio, Virgo, Taurus, Pisces, Gemini, Aquarius Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Libra.People love to know the future and what will unfold for them during the day in advance,hence Horoscope Columns are very popular in newspapers.
In Hindu religion arranged marriages happen only if the horoscope of the bride and groom matches and that too there are stipulated numbers of qualities to be matched
