According to the Code on Wages Bill (2019) which is passed recently by the parliament has calculated that the payment of a minimum wage workers around the country is around rupees 178 per day has been paid to all workers in India.Minimum Wages in India averaged 99.65 rupees from 1996 till 2021 reaching an all time high of 178 INR/Day in 2019.Most companies keep the basic salary of the employees low.
