What kind of clothes do people in your country regularly wear?

In India, it really depends on the city, weather, and occasion, but for everyday wear, casual clothing is probably the most common.

For men, T-shirts with jeans, relaxed trousers, or shorts are very popular, especially among younger people. Polo T-shirts and casual shirts are also common when someone wants to look a little more put-together without dressing formally. In warmer areas, lightweight cotton and linen shirts and trousers are especially comfortable.

Streetwear and relaxed fits have also become more popular, so oversized T-shirts, baggy or straight-fit jeans, sneakers, and simple accessories are pretty common among younger men.

For work or formal occasions, you'll still see plenty of shirts with trousers, while traditional Indian clothing such as kurtas and kurta-pajamas is usually worn for festivals, weddings, religious occasions, or family events.

One thing I like about Indian fashion is that people mix Western and traditional clothing quite easily. Someone might wear jeans and a T-shirt normally, then switch to a kurta for a festival.

Overall, everyday Indian fashion is becoming more relaxed and versatile, with comfort, breathable fabrics, and easy-to-style pieces being important factors.

When you are attending any party, a traditional look is the best one you can go for. Women wear sarees, salwar or any traditional dresses and men wear kurta, blazers, pajama.

Like, Hindu women usually wear saree or salwar but Muslim women usually wear Hijab. Previously, Indian men and women used to dress in proper Indian attire like a dhoti, pajama, kurta, saree, salwar, suits but nowadays all Indians are adopting the western culture and dress accordingly. Western dresses like jeans, tops, shirts, t-shirt, pants, skirts have become regular wear for people all over India. The Indian dressing style is being worn as a traditional look or ethnic look. India is the only country that besides, having different languages, food, and culture, has different clothing styles. People by their dressing style can be recognized from which state they belong.
