When did telengana separated from Andra Pradesh?

It is on 2 June 2014 Telangana was separated from Andhra Pradesh as the newly formed state with Hyderabad as its capital.it is eleventh largest state and the twelfth most populated State in India. Telangana is boarded by the state of Maharashtra to the north Chhattisgarh and east Karnataka and west Andhra Pradesh. And coming to Telangana the major cities are warangal , Karimnagar , Nizamabad, Khammam, Ramagundam.in Telangana, it is mostly surrounded by hills, forests, and mountains.
