Below is the list of top 10 colleges from different fields that are considered the best in the whole country for their educational quality, the exposure they provide, and their environment. The list was released by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development.


1. Miranda House, New Delhi

This college is only for girls and is one of the most popular colleges in the north campus of University of Delhi. It offers almost all the courses in Humanities, Commerce, and Sciences on under graduation and post-graduation level.
2. St. Stephens, Delhi University

By far, it is the best college of University of Delhi and one of the most coveted one in all over India for the studies of Arts and sciences. It is also one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in India and has produced a line of notable alumni.

3. Bishop Heber C Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli

Offering various courses, this college is situated in Tamil Nadu. The college has been recognized by the University Grants Commission as "College with Potential for Excellence" on September 2011. In the Third Cycle of reaccreditation by NAAC, it has been accredited with 'A' Grade with a GPA points of 3.58/4 on 3rd March 2015.
