Which country spends the most on their defence budget?

The United States spends the most on its defence budget in the world. The US military budget is much higher than any other country and covers advanced weapons, aircraft carriers, fighter jets, global military bases, technology, cybersecurity, and research programs.

Countries like China, Russia, India, and Saudi Arabia also spend huge amounts on defence, but the US still remains far ahead overall. Honestly, global defence spending has increased a lot in recent years because of geopolitical tensions, wars, and growing competition between major world powers.

When it comes to dominates the world The United States of America is at the top and the super power spends lavishly on their defence forces to strengthen its place on the world's map. The United States' military has dominated the world for years and they never miss a chance to make an impact globally.

They spend around $569 billion in a year on defence. A big part of the amount goes on defence operations, maintenance and personnel. Next to USA,China is gearing up to become the super power and has increased its defence budget by 8.1 percent recently and they announced that their defence budget of whopping $175 billion.

However, in terms of spending on the defence forces, India stands at the 5th place, with $52.5 billion spent on military maintenance and expenditure.
