Kodagu turns out to become the largest region in Karnataka, contributing to 50% of the coffee production in the state.

The other coffee-producing regions are Shimoga and Mysore. Karnataka has the highest yield of coffee production, which is around 1000 kilograms in a one-hectare area.

Karnataka's primary coffee-producing areas are Kodagu, Chikmagalur, and Hassan. Robusta Coffee accounted for more than 1.58 million metric tonnes of the total 2.33 million metric tonnes of coffee produced. KERALA :

Kerala is the second largest coffee growing state in India, with a total production of 67,700 metric tonnes. Wayanad and Travancore are Kerala's primary coffee-producing areas, accounting for more than 95 percent of the state's total coffee production.
