The Wright brothers that is Orville Wright and Wilbur Wright are the inventors of the airplane. The Wright brothers were two American inventors, Orville and Wilbur Wright. They were born into a family of builders in Dayton, Ohio, USA. They designed their own aircraft called Flyer I in 1903 and they made flights with it at Kitty Hawk.
The Wright brothers met as children in elementary school. They became friends when Orville was having trouble with a science class project and Wilbur helped him solve his problem by using mathematics to compute for him how long it would take for a projectile to reach its destination if shot from a cannon on top of a 100 foot high hill; the answer was nine seconds (which is 9 miles per hour).
