The answer is still unknown about who invented the light, but some historians think that the Elephants or Mice might be responsible for it. This means that the first humans had to improvise around sunlight. This process eventually led to the advent of candles, kerosene lamps and oil lamps. Eventually electricity was harnessed and fuels like coal were used for it's generators which led to power generation on a large scale.
