who is a bhudhist?

Buddhist are those people who follows the path of Buddhism. Buddhist include the religion that profess varying forms of this doctrine and that venerate Siddhartha Gautama. In India, there are several Buddhists. Buddhism is a religion that has been started by Lord Buddha. It is a path of spiritual development leading to the true reality. It changes ourselves and promotes towards awareness, kindness, wisdom, etc. It was practiced in India only in Earlier times, but now from India it is spreading to Central Asia, Korea, China and many more.

Siddhartha Gautama found enlightenment while meditating under a Bodhi tree. He was known as Gautam Buddha ,the enlightened one and spent the rest of his life teaching others how to achieve this spiritual level. Buddha’s teachings became the foundation for Buddhism and Emperor Ashoka made Buddhism the state religion of India. Buddhist monasteries were built, and he encouraged the spread of the religion.Buddhist monks follow a strict code of conduct and monks often meditate because they believe it helps awaken the truth inside us.

As per Gautama Buddha If a man will live by righteousness, he will not have to face the miseries of life and finally attain Nirvana, the state of peace and happiness achieved after giving up all personal desires.Buddhist monks follow these teachings of Gautama Buddha.
