Ben Hilfenhaus full name Benjamin William Hilfenhaus is an Australian former professional cricketer . He is a right arm fast-medium bowler know for his ability to swing the ball . He was born on 15th March 1983 . He played his first test match against South Africa on 26th February 2009 and last test against Sri Lanka on 14th December 2012 , he played his first ODI against New Zealand on 14th January 2007 and last ODI against West Indies . He also played for several domestic teams like Hobart Hurricanes , Melbourne Stars , Chennai Super Kings , Nottinghamshire etc. The 2006/07 season saw Hilfenhaus named Tasmania's Player of the year as the club won the Pura Cup for the first time . In February 2016 he announced his retirement from first claas cricket due to ongoing injuries.
