Who is Birbal?

In the court of the Mughal Emperor,Akbar,Birbal was the chief commander of the army & the advisor.He was born in 1528 at Sidhi.His full name wasMahesh Das but was popularly known as Birbal.From the year 1556-1562 Birbal was a poet & singer in Akbars court.Birbal was very brainy & was popularly known for his folk tales & his clever answers given to Akbar.In Akbars court Birbal was the only Hindu navratna.He died on 16th February 1586 at Karakar Pass.
