Former Australian cricketer David Hussey made his international debut when he was 30 years old. He batted right-handed and bowled right-arm off-spin part-time.
He is Michael Hussey's younger brother. David was born in the Western Australian town of Morley on July 15, 1977. In the Big Bash League, he led the Melbourne Stars.
David Hussey was the International cricket team's captain. In his playing days, the right-handed batter was the unappreciated hero of the Australian side, lending a helping hand anytime his team was in trouble. Hussey played in 69 One-Day Internationals and 39 Twenty-20 Internationals for Australia. In ODI cricket, he scored 1796 runs, while in T20I cricket, he scored 756 runs.
