King Ashoka was one of the famous Indian emperor of the Maurya Dynasty fwho ruled the whole country for many ages. He is well known as the Ashoka the great. He is the grandson of the maurya dynasty's founder chandragupta maurya and son of Bindusara. He has played the main role in spreading Buddhism across the whole continent of Asia. He was the native of Patna district of Bihar. He has played the main role in spreading maurya dynasty.

Born in Pataliputra,Ashoka The Great was an Indian emperor who ruled in India from c.268 to 232 BCE.He belongs to the Maurya Dynasty & he has a great role in promoting the spread of Buddhism in Asia.Ashoka is the grandson of Chandragupta Maurya.Ashokas name appears in Puranas but there is no information about his life.His birthdate is not known.Ashoka is also said to be one of the hundredth’s son of his father named Bindusara.Ashoka was highly trained in marital arts & was also taught to how to use the “Arthashatra”.He was a brave king.

Ashoka was the grandson of Chandragupta Maurya the founder of Maurya dynasty.He was born in Patliputra, Ashoka is remembered as a emperor who control a huge kingdom of Mauryan empire through peace and respect.Ashoka was an unique emperor he used to speak with his audience through inscription that is why he is also known as 'Ashoka:The Great'.
