Who is lala rajpat rai?

Lala Lajpat Rai is an Indian writer and a politician. He is born on 28 January 1865 in dhudike. He was popularly known as Punjab Kesari. He was one of the three member of Lal Bal pal triumvirate. Is also an Indian independent activists. He has a great contribution in Indian independence movement. He also helped in establishing few schools in the country.

He is a great freedom fighter and a great leader and also great writer who wrote history of the Arya samaj, a Hindus impression and a study, problem of national education in India and many more books. On October 13 ,1928 he died in the order of Lathi charge.

Born on 28th January 1865 at Punjab,Lala Lajpat Rai played a major role in the Indian Independence movement.He was also known as “Punjab Kesari” & also “ Lion Of Punjab”.His youth is spend on Jagraon & his house is today a museum & house of library visited by tourists.His father Munshi Radha Krishnan was a government school teacher.His mothers name was Gulab Devi.Rai died on 17th November 1928 at Lahore due getting highly injured during a baton charge.
