Who is Mahela Jayawardene?

Born on 27th May 1977 at Colombo, Denagamage Praboth Mahela de Silva Jayawardene is a Cricket coach.He has served as the former Cricketer of Sri Lanka.He has been one of the most successful captain of Sri Lanka.He is a right handed batsman & a right arm medium bowler.In the Sri Lankan cricket history Mahela is the first cricketer to score over 10,000 runs in tests & after Sanath Jaysuriya,Mahela is the second player to score more than 10,000 runs in the ODI’s.Presently he is the chairman of Sri Lanka National Sports Council.
