Riddhi Sen is a Bengali actor who is born and grown up in a family of theatre artists. He started his film career as an actor when he was 11. He used to do acting in his father's theatre group (Swapanasandhani) and performed many roles as an actor. He is not new to acting.
At age 15, He had been honoured with the Bengal government's prestigious award the Mahanayak Samman for his brilliant performance in Open Tee Bioscope, a Bengali movie.
At the 65th National awards, Riddhi Sen’s name surprised everyone when bagged a National award for the best actor for his work in movie “Nagarkirtan’’. He played the role of transgender in the love story, Nagarkirtan. His sheer hard work and passion for acting made him the best youngest actor in the history of National awards.
The honor has come to him seems easy but it is not like that, he works on a character closely while performing it on screen. He is also known for his work in Kahaani (2012), Lion (2016) and Feluda (2017).
