Who is Sambhaji Maharaj?

Sambhaji Bhosale is well known as Sambhaji Maharaj. He was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire. He has ruled from 1681 to 1689. He was born on 14 May 1657 at Purandar fort, maratha empire, pune district of maharashtra, India. He has lost his life on 11 March, 1689 at pune district. He was the predecessor of Shivaji. He was the successor of Rajaram. He was the eldest son of Shivaji.

Shambhaji Maharaj was chhatrapati shivaji's father who get engaged in war with moughal empire multiple times and fought for his independence. He is recognized for his bravery and as a rebel in the mughal emperor aurangzeb's rule.
