Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel was an Indian statesman. He has also served as the first deputy prime minister of India. He was also an Indian barrister and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress. He has done many thing for struggle for Independence. He is well known as the Sardar. He was so famous political leader and freedom fighter. He has awarded by many awards like Bharat ratna in 1991. He was the main leader of INC.
Born on 31st October 1875 at Nadiad,Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel was the first deputy prime minister of India.In the Independence movement a played a great role as a political leader & lawyer.The slogan raised by Sardar Patel was “Take to the path of dharma—the path of truth & justice”.In 1940,he participated in the individual disobedience with Gandhiji but was imprisoned for nine months in jail.Sardar Patel died on 15th December 1950 at Mumbai.
