Vint Cerf is known as the father of internet.He was born June 23, 1943.He designed the TCP/IP protocols and the internet architecture with the help of his co-designer Robert E. Kahn.Cerf began work at the United States Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in 1973 at the request of Kahn.

Since 2005, Vinton Cerf has held the position of Google’s Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist. In this capacity, he represents Google in the internet community, overseeing the identification of technologies to enhance internet-based products and services. Cerf's contributions extend beyond Google, including:
- Chairing the Board of ICANN from 2000 to 2007, where he played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.
- Serving as the Founding President of the Internet Society from 1992 to 1995 and later as Chairman of the Board in 1999.
