Who is the first deputy governor of RBI ?

The first deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India, also known as RBI was Sir James B. Taylor. He held his position of governor from the 1st of July, 1937 till his unfortunate demise on the 17th of February, 1943. He was then succeeded by Sir Osborne Smith.
