Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah is the founder of Char Minar in Andhra Pradesh. The fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty, Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, built the Charminar in 1591 after shifting his capital from Golkonda to the newly formed city of Hyderabad. It has Indo-Islamic architecture. Its architect's name is Mir Momin Astarawadi. This landmark is globally famous as a symbol of Hyderabad. The Charminar is situated on the east bank of Musi river. It is named after its "four pilars".
