Kevin Phillips is the oldest player in the Premier League. Hailed as one of the finest strikers in English football, he retired in 2004, after smashing 287 career goals. In 2000, he won the European Golden Boot. He was 40 years old when he hung his foot.

Following, playing from Crystal Palace, Julian Speroni is the second oldest player in Premier League. A goalkeeper, he is 39-years old and still going strong – albeit with few injuries that have kept him off the field for some time.

Next in line are Gareth McAuley and Rob Green. Both at 38, they currently play for Rangers NC and Chelsea.

Aside from these 4 names, there are many at age 37 playing in different clubs and national teams.
