Indian Premier League which is also known as IPL was started 14 years ago in 2008. The league is based on the T-20 format. There are 8 teams divided who compete each other for the trophy. This league was started and formed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). IPL is held between March and May of every year.
