Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October, 1931 was an Indian scientist. He also served the country as President for 5 years. He was born and brought up in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu and completed his studies in physics and aerospace engineering. He has worked as a scientist in Defence Research and Development Organization as well as Indian Space Research Organization. He was titled as Missile Man of India for his work in making ballistic missiles.
He also played an important role in India for Pokhran-II. He has been awarded with Bharat Ratna and several prestigious awards.
