Salma Haidrani, who was named the youngest self made billionaire in 2019 at the age of 16, has been hailed by Forbes as the new face of entrepreneurship. Haidrani is one of only three citizens of Qatar to be included in Forbes’ Richest 2018 list. The other two are Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed al-Maktoum and Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al Thani, both with fortunes estimated at $2 billion.
Haidrani's first venture was a fashion line she launched when she was only 7 years old. As a student in Italy, she founded ISSHO Fashion Academy where she teaches young girls how to design and make clothes.
