Why AR Rahman embraced Islam, and other pertinent questions?

Allah Rakha Rahman or AR Rahman formerly known as AS Dilip shed his faith from the religion
which he was born with and accepted a new faith that gave him deepness of life and clarity of
mind. There were multiple reason for his conversion, untimely death of his father to sccour of
sufi saint Karimullah Shah Qadri. Rahman in his young days was looking for purpose and he
wanted to get a grip on his professional future.
According to Rahman never have ever anone forced him or persuaded him to become sufism,
he quoted “ it is something that comes from inside , you can only accept it once your soul is truly
touched by it”. Also adding that both him and his mother were spiritually lifted by the beauty of
sufi islam and being from the musical background everything worked accordingly.
It can be seen that how faith and destiny truly works for the blessed , a boy who lost his father in
his early age , changed his name ***** religion not because of ant anger or bad influence but
only because the destiny wanted to give the world the name RAHMAN
