Lines are called as the "King of the Jungle". They are seen as the most powerful animal among all animals in the forest. Lions usually roam around the jungle to protect their species, forests, land, etc. They roam for their preys or food. They also protects their families. They take care of their land boundaries and territories. Also, tigers are the national animal but it is the lions who are called as Kings of jungle.

Lions are considered to be strong and have leadership abilities and maybe that is the reason are referred to as the king of the jungle but they prefer to live in the open plains .African Lions live in group and their groups are known as Pride.A pride consists of fifteen lions.Lions were earlier found in Asia,Africa and Europe but now are becoming extinct and is found in Africa and the Asiatic Lions are found in India.Even though Lion is the King, they have huge respect for Elephants and do not prefer to fight them,

Lions are called the King of the Jungle but they normally don’t live in the jungle but in grasslands and plains and they prefer to roam around freely. They hunt animals like the deer, zebra and antelopes and also hunt in groups bigger and heavier animals like the giraffe or buffaloes as they are hard to hold on to because of their strength and size. They live in groups and the male lion looks after the group and safeguard them from outsider attacks while the female lions are the ones who hunt.

The reason a lion roams about in a jungle is because they are equipped with sharp, pointy teeth to help them hunt and drink water. They have an excellent sense of smell and hearing so that they can track down their prey. And lions have incredibly strong muscles which enable them to jump up to six feet in the air, pounce on their prey, and sink their teeth into it.
