The army of India is essentially the country’s soul. The army jointly works with the Indian Navy, the Indian air force and also the Indian Coast Guard to keep the citizens safe and secured. The Indian Army is composed of the largest number of voluntary military force in the world. The Indian Army has also been proudly controlling the highest battlefield in the world- the famous Siachen glacier. The glacier is located at an astonishing altitude of 5000 m above the sea level. The famous nuclear-capable missile, known as Prithvi and Agni are Fame to be the most accurate in the whole world in their category.
India is also ranked in the fourth position in the list of firepower across the globe, after USA, Russia, and China. Indian Army is not only enormous in size, but it is also composed of brave hearts who carried out the operation Rahat. It was a massive evacuation programme to help those who had been affected by the deadly flood in Uttarakhand. It was one of the largest rescue operations that have ever been carried out in the world. In the Yemen war, the Indian Army had also helped in the process of evacuating people from 41 countries of all nationalities.
