Nepotism in simple words implies privileged status that is being given to the ends of a famous
personality. In a recent age, nepotism has emerged as one of the most disturbing factors in
Bollywood. Nepotism in Bollywood has resulted in a declining quality of films at times, simply
because films or at times start by star kid who does not really have in-depth knowledge of
acting. Nepotism has made it increasingly difficult for outsiders to make an entry in Bollywood as it
is already crowded by star kids. The simple answer is that Bollywood is an area that runs more
on the ground of profits and connections and less on talent.
Most of the directors and producers are uninterested in launching outsiders in the business as it
would pose a challenge to their power and place.
Most of the movies are already packed and booked by the star kids.
The available slot for outsiders is the space that every acting enthusiast is struggling and dying for.
While some lucky ones make through the spot, unfortunately, there are many genuine acting
talents who lag behind in the rat race.
