When compared side-by-side, OnePlus 6 and Galaxy Note 9 is almost identical with very minor differences in specs. But then when we look at the price, OnePlus 6 easily takes away the crown of being the better one between the two.
OnePlus comes at the price of Rs 34,999, while Galaxy Note 9 will punch a hole in your pocket of Rs 67,900. [Note (no pun here): the price of different variants will vary]

OnePlus 6 is 4616 x 3464—much higher to Note 9’s 4000 x 3000. Its front camera resolution is 16 MP; physical aperture is higher at F2.0. Comparably, the phone is much slimmer and lighter. Its thickness is 7.7 mm as opposed to Note 9’s 8.8. And it weighs just 177 grams to Note’s 201 grams.
Now this isn’t to say that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is all bad and isn’t worth a purchase. From display size to battery life to pixel density – it wins in many departments. Plus, coming from Samsung, you can be blindly assured of its performance and longevity.
But then again, if you look at its price, OnePlus 6 deserves to take all the spotlight from Samsung’s big ticket product. It’s likely the time for the South Korean phone makers to look beyond Apple and focus equally on other competitors as well.
