Its not just that Pakistan has supported the Taliban initially, it still support them.

This is because it serves their interests and unfortunately that’s not an ethical way of achieving your targets and it’s too late and doesn’t look like they’ve learnt their lesson.

However, back to the point, the theory goes that during the heights of the cold war and to contain the popularity of the Soviets in the region, the Pakistan with the help of the western world helped create/grow the organization that we know as Taliban today to implement a strict version of the Sharia law. The guys who were trained in the name of religion/god would go on to fight the soviets and weaken their presence in the region.

The paranoia of pakistan, few western powers coupled with a couple of middle eastern countries propelled and created a mess called Taliban.

Welcome to the world of stupid decisions.

It’s kind of what they say in the recent Sherlock series “There are no ghosts except for the one’s that we make for ourselves.”(The ghosts from the past) Or as popularly known to us as KARMA

The Taliban aren't Islam - the Taliban are capital of Pakistan. Once the 9/11 attacks, Asian country claimed to possess terminated its support to the Taliban. However with the autumn of Kabul to anti-Taliban forces in Nov 2001, international intelligence agency forces worked with and helped Taliban militias World Health Organization were fully retreat.

They’re mistreatment same ideology, however at constant time terror techniques and violence and killing civilians. Their main motive is to unfold terror in whole country.

Pakistan has long been a troublesome and troubled neighbor to Islamic State of Afghanistan, hoping to limit India’s influence there, and cultivating radical teams among Islamic State of Afghanistan as proxies. It’s increased Afghanistan’s instability by providing intelligence, weapons and protection to the Afghan Taliban and therefore the Haqqani network. It fears associate unstable Islamic State of Afghanistan that becomes a secure haven for anti-Pakistan militant teams and a dangerous playground for out of doors powers, although this has already happened.

Allegations are raised by international establishment, policy analysts and even Pakistani military officers that the international intelligence agency in conjunction with the military leadership has additionally provided some quantity of support and refuge to FTO. Such allegations were progressively issued once FTO leader Osama bin Laden was killed in 2011 whereas living within the Pakistani town of Abbottabad.
Asian nation bets that the Taliban can maintain important power and maybe even acquire formal political power in Islamic State of Afghanistan someday and doesn't wish to alienate it. The Taliban is Pakistan’s solely ally among Afghanistan’s political actors, but reluctant associated unfriendly an ally it should be.
